I thought I’d share with you an artist I have been finding quite inspirational of late…

Hello there, Mister Fox.

Hello there, Mister Fox.

Aren’t these creatures wonderful? I simply love her owls in a bag!

Look at that face! Something tells me he wants to get out of the bag.

There’s quite a knack to creating something that’s so rought around the edges. Look at this little fellow – his legs are bent perfectly into shape, and his body sewn perfectly into place using big extravagant stitches.

Meet Willfred. Aww.

Debra from Monniebean also makes rustic and primitive bag designs. I received a funky purple sewing machine for my birthday this year and I’m finally starting to get to grips with it. I can’t wait to start trying to make my own bags!

To me, this is a travelling bag. It's seen the world with you, and it holds your favourite things.
